Goshodo Martial Arts is a mixed martial arts style, based around karate, and incorporating elements of many other styles.
We believe that karate provides a firm foundation, instilling self-respect, discipline and confidence in those who train. However, in a modern world with modern dangers, karate is not enough. Hence, we incorporate self-defence in the form of locks, holds, breakfalls, takedowns, and defence against weapons. It is our goal to give students the confidence to defend themselves in an increasingly violent society, whilst also helping build general fitness.
As instructors, we both hold Level 3 Diploma's in Coaching Sports, and are both fully CRB checked.
